Integration of WeDeclare

WeDeclare AG is integrated into the M+R Spedag Group, further expanding the Group’s customs clearance service portfolio and strengthening its position in the market.

Expansion of the Range of Services

WeDeclare AG takes over the customs services department of M+R Spedag Group AG, which represents another expansion and diversification of the corporate portfolio.

Joint Venture

The M+R Spedag Group founds a joint venture called WeDeclare AG with Periplus AG. WeDeclare specializes in providing customs and export services and further increase efficiency in customs clearance. Periplus AG AG

Implementation of Digitization

EBD/ECOM goes live at customs clearance sites to help further improve and digitize customs clearance processes.

Innovation Partnership

The M+R Spedag Group starts a pilot scheme called EBD & ECOM in cooperation with Swiss customs. The objective of this project is the improvement of efficiency and optimization of customs clearance processes.

Change of Management

Daniel Richner performs a company buyout and takes over the management of the company. Under his leadership, the company continues its expansion.

Acquisition and Name Change

The Spedag Group is acquired by M+R, and the company is renamed to M+R Spedag Group. In doing so, the company expands its range of services and its presence on the market.

Founding M+R

Founding of Metzger + Richner Transport AG in Basel, Switzerland. Initially, the company focused on services in transport and logistics.
